Kenzie having fun with the tube!

Madi loved playing on this crab.  She would get so mad when the older kids jumped on the crab and she would come to me and say they wernt sharing.  They really were I just think she got scared when the crab started moving rough.

I tried to get both kids in the pic on this one but it just wasnt happening.

Mckenzie's Pre-school graduation

Kenzie went to a three year old pre-school class this past school Year and she made it through!  She Graduated and next year she will move on to the 4-5 class and get a cap and gown.

Kenzie learned a lot this year at school.  She knows her alphabet, all the months of the year, she can count to 40 and she can read a few words.  Her favorite part of school is doing the crafts and learning fun songs.   They did a great little program for us at the graduation.  The Video is a little blip of the program.

Kenzie walking!
Mckenzie had a deal with mom.  Since she was always really nervous and clingy when I dropped her off at school in the morning, she always wanted me to walk her to her class.  All her other classmates walked to class a lone.  I didn't mind walking her at first but it got old after a while.
About two months before school ended we made a deal.  When she had found a really cool clock at target that she really wanted (I really didn't want)  I told her if she walked to class all by her self every day till the end of school year she would earn the clock and I would buy it.  Well, she did it!!  After graduation we went to target and she picked out her princess clock.   Check out her pics she was so excited!
Getting out of the car to get her prize!

The clock!

Buying the clock!

Sister love at Wingers!  Kenzie was so excited about the great day.
We ate at Wingers after she got her clock.  There is a wingers that we pass every day when I take Kenzie to school and every time, she asks to eat there.  We decided we would let her pick where to eat and she chose Wingers.

New pet

Brian went golfing this weekend and brought home a cute pet for the kids, my girls named her Kelly.  Not sure if its a worm, Caterpillar of what, if anyone can Identify this bug It would be great.  Brian is insistent that its a Caterpillar and that it will turn into a moth or butterfly.  We'll see, the kids are having fun with it, there are no pics of Kenzie holding Kelly because she's scared too.  Silly girl. we are going to try to keep it untill it turns into a moth/butterfly.  I'll give you updates on if we kill it  (dies in our jar), or if it lives long enough to pupate.

Mothers Day

This is really late but its been really busy around here.  I was lucky enough to work a 12 hour shift on mothers day so all the other mothers could have the day off (that's what I was telling myself)  I was actually suppose to work a 16hour day but I was cancelled the last 4 hours (thank goodness I was tired) I made it home just in time to tuck my cute little girls to bed, and to my surprise I came home to a very clean house with the laundry almost all done.  I was so excited because I new my house was very messy since I had worked all weekend long.  I read to my girls and went straight to bed.  I was very grateful to my husband for all the hard work he had done for me.  I had no idea he was going to clean the house.  I think he nailed it with my gift this year.  I really couldn't have asked for anything more it was the best gift ever.  Even though I worked this year for mothers day I had the opportunity to spend time with some sick lonely mothers in the hospital and for some reason I didn't feel so sad being at work knowing that I was helping in some way.

Tesitmony meeting.

I was so proud of Kenzie today.  She got up and bore her testimony all by herself.  Before church today I was preparing my lesson about fast Sunday and I made some signs that went along with my lesson she was asking me what each sign said.  One of them said "Fasting prepares us to bear testimony"   She said she wanted to bear her testimony today at church.  I explained to her that if she did she had to do it all by herself.  She was totally fine with that and was really excited.  Well as soon as testimony meeting started she jumped up and sat by the bishopric. Someone was before her.  When she got up she said "I like to bear my testimony I know this church is true and our Church is the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen."  I was so proud of her!  It was simple and sweet and she said what she knew and that's what counts.  When she came back to sit with the family she told me she bore a short testimony and next time it will be longer.  I think she likes standing up there with the microphone.  Today was a proud day to be a parent!

Out with the old, In with the new!

Today Brian and I went to celebrate his end of semester.  We went to see a movie and after we still had some time to kill before we had to be home.  My Mom was watching our kids and we had an hour before we had to be home at 10 o'clock.  Well we stopped by our dealer who sold our old Corolla to check out the cars and well 3 hours later we traded our old car for a new one.  Our lease was up in 2 months and they were having a killer deal.  Its still a corolla, but it has a few upgrades from the last.  I'm hoping the next car we get will be a big SUV or yes I will admit to a "mini van"  Toyota actually has a way nice mini van.  It hardly looks like a van and it is a very reasonable price.  Well my mom was a trooper and stayed with the kids all night till we got home at 1AM.  Brian is actually in the car right now working out the voice command thing for his phone in the car.  hehehe!  I hope he comes to bed soon.  This pic above is not our actual car but looks Identical to it.  I love Leasing.  Its fun to trade after 3 years.  I am definatly pro leasing for this reason.
