Family Photos

So I wasn't going to post all the family pics but I had a few requests so here they are!
This is the funniest picture ever! The girls had a huge tantrum during the photo shoot and starting balling because I told them they don't get ice cream because they weren't cooperating and smiling for the camera. Hehehehe! I guess I'm mean!
If anyone likes the photography Hollie Hansen in my ward did them and she did great I love how much time she spent with me check out her photo blog at http://holliehansonphotog.blogspot.com/

Lagoon!! Fun!!!

Some one nice enough to offer to take a picture of both of us! This in the only one.
They had so many pumpkins! Since we didn't have anyone to take our pics all our pics were done separate!
This is as close as I got and Brian got to wearing a halloween costume!
I had so much fun ramming into Brian on the bumper cars! Talk about whiplash!
On the Sky ride!
Brian won 2 tickets to frightmares at lagoon on the Radio. So we got a babysitter on Halloween and went at noon! I was worried we wouldn't get to ride many ride but I was wrong. The line were so short!!! I went on wicked 2 times in 20 minutes and on most all the rides the line was about 3 min long. some rides didn't even have a line at all, we had to sometimes wait on the ride till more people showed up. IT was seriously the best day ever to go to Lagoon. We went to one haunted house that they had only because they didn't open till 3 and we had to leave at 3:30. It was way scary I wanted to go to a few more but we just didn't have time. We had to get home to get the kiddos all ready for trick-or-treating! I;m such a chicken I was really scared in the haunted house and they really did a great job. I thought it would be cheesy and maybe Brian thought it was but I'm a Wuss!

Princess Cinderella and Bell

Dancing like little princesses!
Here are a few halloween Pics of the girls. When I got our Family pics done the first time the girl who did it had her camera broken and she didn't know it so none of the pics turned out. So to off set the inconvenience of having to re shoot our pictures she offered to do a free Halloween session. I thought that was a really good deal!

Okay I have been really bad about updating my blog so I have to confess I have been busy creating a digital scrap book with heritage makers. Its my new addiction and I love it. This book of Madison it one of my projects I am working on. Its a year book of madison's 3rd year. I just completed Mckenzies 3rd year book so I will try to figure out how to add the link so people can view it. When I am done with a book the company prints it and sends it to me. I love it! This link below is Madison's book I am working on Check it out!

Vacation

Our fun boating adventure.. I got both the kids on the tube. They had a blast. On the last boat ride, Madi and I actually got thrown off the tube, and when Brian went he almost broke his nose. He got a bloody mouth and a black eye. It was a lot of fun!

Cute Madi trying to catch a fish with the net.
The girls jumping to daddy from the dock. They did this over and over again.

The girls caught a frog with Aunt amy and the kids were to scared to stand near it for a picture. Silly girly girls

Playing games.
For the kids, this is what the party is all about! CAKE! Cute little birds near our event. Brian and I where in a couple horse shoe contest. We made it through the first round but then was defeated with my dads team. Errrr!!

I caught a little fish with my girls princess fishing pole. heheheh, I let it go after the picture.

Brian spent most the the time trying to catch a big fish with the girls Princess pole, he looked so masculine with that pole, hehehe.

I just love this pic of Madi

Brian was the pro fire maker. He also prepared these yummy foil Dinners. After we roasted marshmallows and made smores.

When we drove through Chicago we met up with my Uncle and Aunt Miller and of coarse Jeff, at the hard rock cafe. It was Crazy in down town Chicago.

In front of Michigan Lake

This is the picture of Crazy horse near Mount Rushmore. If you can see behind the statue is a mountain were they have started to make the mountain like this statue by Kenzie. It will be amazing when completed.
We had a great opportunity to go to my family reunion on my dads side. every 4-5 years they have one at ford lake in Michigan. Last reunion my fam didn't go but I'm so glad I went this year it was such a blast to see all my Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Mckenzie and Madison really had a great time on the lake. I think it helped them with their bug fobia. We stayed on the lake for 7 days it was so relaxing and then after we headed the Wisconsin to visit the other half of my family on my moms side. Brian also payed another visit to Marquette which is one of his top schools he would like to go for Dental school.

Sarah and me!

Mckenzie had her last Dance performance at Taylersville Dayzz. She did such a great job and I am so proud of her. She is so sad to have the season end. when I was doing her hair and makeup before the performance I told her this was her last performance for the year. She was really bummed and said "I don't want it to end I want to dance all summer long" I was shocked because she sometimes tell me she doesn't' want to go to dance class. I guess she does really like it.

Stuck in Bed

*CAUTION*(very long post you may skip if you want to.)
Many years ago when I was a foolish silly teenager trying to show off, I tried to do a jump with a snowboard.. Well, unfortunately I crashed and couldn't get up. Embarrassed, I had to be gurneyed off the slopes and sent in an ambulance to the hospital. The doctors said I was fine and that I probably just bruised my muscles. I remember being in bed for 5 days after the accident because I could hardly move with out having pain. After I recovered I didn't think anything of it and went on with my life with no problems. While pregnant with Mckenzie I remember having severe back pain and I asked my OB what it could be. He asked if I had possibly ever injured my back and I remembered my accident. He said pregnancy can cause irritation to old wounds. I still didn't think much about it. Well, about 2 years ago I hurt my back so bad that I could hardly get out of bed I went to a chiropractor and he said I probably have a herniated disc. When he told me that I immediately scheduled to see the spine specialist where they did an MRI and confirmed my Herniation. I recovered and went on with my life scared to work out or do anything that might hurt my back. I then re injured it about 6 months later, but it wasn't as bad and after three days it felt better. The reason I'm saying all this is I injured my back AGAIN!! Tuesday I was picking up Mckenzie to set her in the chair to do her hair and I instantly had shooting pain up and down my back and down to my leg! I was so mad at my self for not using good back mechanics. I guess it's been so long I forget that I need to be careful ERRrrrrrr! I wanted to cry. I have been really good about working out and strengthening my core so why did this happen? I've been stuck on my back since Tuesday night and I cant bend my back. I walk like an old lady with a hunch back because when I straighten my back my spine crunches my disc that is bulging out of my spine. When I am moving around I can remember the pain I had with my snowboarding accident and it is the exact same pain I had then. So I guess it wasn't a bruise after all! There is some good things about being stuck in bed, one is I have almost caught up with blogging and 2 I finally started my digital scrap booking I have been meaning to start. The bad thing is my house is a disaster. Luckily and thankfully my kind mother stayed over late last night to help me finish folding a putting away my huge piles of laundry. What a great Mom! Thanks mom! I think laying around for 2 days have payed off because I am laying here now and I'm not in constant pain like I was 2 days ago it's only when I move. The funny thing is today I was laying belly down with ice on my back (actually it was a bag of frozen peas) when Mckenzie asked if she could open the bag and eat the peas. I didn't really care either way, so she opened it and started eating the frozen pea's. Then Madi came over and started munching on the pea's. Personally I hate pea's but they were lovin it so what ever gets them to eat there vegetables. Okay I've rambled enough I better go to bed!

Fathers Day

Fathers day morning was really great. I made breakfast for Brian While he slept in. I made our favorite German pancakes and eggs with Bacon. Can you tell Brian just woke up. I didn't think he would sleep in as long as he did I was done making breakfast and he was still sleeping so I had to wake him up so the food would not get cold. I had to work after church (bumber!) Brian went to his dad's house and celebrated there and my dad was out of town so we didn't really get to celebrate yet. I am so grateful for my father for all he does for me and for all he's has done for me growing up. I also am so grateful for Brian, he is such a great dad! He always gets down and plays with the kids. He is so patient with the kids and he teaches them so much! He always makes up funny songs for the kids and they always rhyme, even if it doesn't make any sense, it makes the girls laugh. He tickles, tackles, and wraps the girls up in burritos (they love the burrito wrap). He Loves his family and it shows by his actions. I Love you Brian and Thanks for being you!!!
